Week 2.4
Estimated time to complete 2.4: 20-30 mins

Drawing your three circles

Writing by the Water

Have a go at drawing your three circles, using the handout: Drawing your three circles.

The size of each circle should roughly reflect how much time you think you spend in each one in your daily lives. Then, if you'd like, you can consider the three reflection points on the handout.

Building your Soothing System

Our soothing system helps to balance the other two systems. Spending time in a calm, connected, and peaceful state can promote greater physical and mental well-being.

Rhythm breathing can help activate our soothing system and our parasympathetic nervous system, which is the part of our nervous system responsible for allowing us to slow down, feel calmer and have a lower heart rate.

Let’s introduce rhythm breathing and practice together...

While we cannot always choose our struggles, we can choose to meet them with a mind that supports healing, strength, and safeness.
